About
The Czech Annual Cancer Research Meeting is a leading scientific conference that has been bringing together the Czech and international oncology community for more than 20 years. Held annually in Olomouc, the meeting provides a comprehensive platform for presenting the latest advances in cancer prevention, diagnostics, and treatment, while fostering collaboration across basic, translational, and clinical research.
Each year, the conference hosts around 300 researchers, clinicians, and students and features a rich scientific programme including oral presentations, poster sessions, and opportunities for open discussion. CACR Meeting creates an environment that supports interdisciplinary exchange, encourages new partnerships, and promotes the professional development of early-career scientists.
The meeting is co-organized under the Czech Annual Cancer Research brand in collaboration with the National Institute for Cancer Research (NICR), MedChemBio, and the national translational medicine infrastructure EATRIS-CZ. Through these partnerships, the conference reflects the growing integration of research capacities across the Czech Republic and strengthens connections to the European and global cancer research landscape.
By combining high-quality science with a welcoming and collaborative atmosphere, CACR Meeting serves as a key forum for sharing knowledge, supporting the next generation of researchers, and accelerating the translation of scientific discoveries into clinical practice for the benefit of patients.
